Welcome to Canvas ("Service," "we," "our," or "us"). By registering for or using Canvas, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). Please read them carefully.

1. Description of Service

Canvas is a flier distribution platform that allows event coordinators and managers ("Subscribers") to collect finished fliers from designers via secure access links and distribute them. Designers do not require accounts; they receive a magic link and upload their completed work.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use Canvas. By registering, you represent that you meet these requirements.

3. Accounts & Subscriptions

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• Subscriptions are billed monthly. Prices are displayed at checkout and may change with 30 days' notice.
• A 3-day free trial is available for new subscribers. After the trial, your card on file will be charged automatically unless you cancel before the trial ends.
• You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

4. Refund Policy

• All subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
• If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days of the charge at the email address listed below. We will review your request and issue a credit or refund at our discretion.
• Partial-month refunds are not provided for early cancellations.
• Trial periods are free of charge; no refund is applicable.

5. Data Retention

• Active accounts: Your data (events, fliers, artist records, email logs) is retained for as long as your subscription is active.
• After cancellation: We retain your data for 30 days after cancellation to allow for reactivation. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.
• Uploaded fliers: Image files uploaded by designers are stored on our servers and are subject to the same retention period as your account.
• Email logs: Email delivery logs are retained for 90 days for troubleshooting purposes.
• You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us. We will process requests within 30 days.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Canvas for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload content that is infringing, defamatory, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to Canvas without our written consent.

7. Intellectual Property

Canvas and its original content, features, and functionality are the property of the platform operator. Flier files uploaded by designers remain the property of their respective creators. By uploading, designers grant the subscribing coordinator a license to download and distribute those fliers for the associated event.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Canvas shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, including loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. We will notify subscribers of material changes via email or a notice within the platform. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in a court of competent jurisdiction.
